Introducing: Drop-Off While You Shop!

Life as a parent can get super busy, and we know that sometimes you just need a little time to do your shopping, grab a coffee, or simply take a breather. That’s why we’re excited to introduce Drop-Off While You Shop at Little Lane Playroom!

This new service allows parents to drop off their child for a fun, safe, and engaging play session with Ms. Monica (a CPR & First-Aid certified toddler mama and experienced caregiver of 15+ years) in our cozy playroom, while you take care of your to-do list.

How It Works:

60- or 90-Minute Sessions: Choose from 1-hour or 90-minute drop-off sessions, based on your needs.
Max 3 Children per Drop-Off Session: For a safe, intimate, and personalized experience, each session will be capped at three children, with Ms. Monica as the dedicated caregiver.
Age-Specific & All-Ages Playgroups: Choose from drop-off sessions dedicated to specific age groups or choose a drop-off session open to all ages 18 months-6 years.
Safe & Fun Environment: Your child will have a blast in a carefully curated environment designed for exploration, creativity, and social interaction.

Whether you need time for a Target run, lunch with a friend, or simply want to enjoy a peaceful walk around the mall, rest assured that your child is in great hands at Little Lane Playroom.

Policies & Procedures:

You must attend at least 1 of our 60-minute Child & Caregiver Play Sessions with your child within 60 days prior to utilizing the drop-off service as a “temperament test” to ensure it’s a good fit for both your child and our staff.
Parent is required to stay within the mall premises for the entire drop-off session, and must maintain a working and charged phone on them so they can be reached immediately. Must remain within the building at all times, please note the parking lot or outside areas do not qualify as "mall premises".
Maximum hours allowed per day: 2 hours (drop-off sessions will be 60 or 90 minutes long).
To reduce distractions, caregivers and other family members are not allowed in the waiting area or play area once the drop-off session begins, unless they are there to pick-up their child or have received a phone call or text message from staff to return to the playroom for any reason, including to bring their child for a diaper change/restroom visit or to console them. Only the individual parent dropping off the child is permitted to stay and work in the waiting area should they choose to stay for the entire duration of the drop-off session.
For the well-being of the other children, please refrain from bringing a sick child to the playroom.
The playroom has age-appropriate toys and books for your children. For safety and hygienic reasons we ask that you do not bring your kids toys or books to Little Lane Playroom.
Violent or repetitive unsafe behavior will not be tolerated. In these circumstances, parents will be notified immediately. After 2 incidents the child will not be allowed to return to the playroom.
If a child is inconsolable for more than 15 minutes, parents will be notified and asked to return to the playroom to assist.
Parents will be responsible for any damages caused during their child’s visit.
Children will be released ONLY to the person who dropped them off. Matching numbered wristbands will be placed on the child and parent upon check-in and wristbands must match at pick-up.
Food, milk, and medications will not be administered by Little Lane Playroom staff. Please bring a labeled sippy water cup and small diaper bag for your child. We do not change diapers or clothing, but want to ensure you have the necessities readily available at the front of the playroom in the event you have to return to the playroom at some point during the session to make a visit to the nearest restroom or clean up after an accident.
Please bring your child freshly diapered. We do not provide diaper changing services. If a diaper change is needed, parents will receive a phone call and/or text message and will have 5 minutes to return to the playroom to pick-up their child and visit the nearest restroom to change the diaper.
As a common courtesy, we kindly ask that children who are not fully potty trained come wearing a diaper or pull-up to help prevent potential incidents inside the playroom as much as possible. In the event that they express that they need to visit the restroom, parents will receive a phone call and/or text message and will have 5 minutes to return to the playroom to pick-up their child and visit the nearest restroom.
